Synopsis:
A brand-new interconnected stand-alone dark mafia romance from USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Siobhan Davis.
The moment I lay eyes on Valentina Ferraro, I know I have to have her.
There’s just one teeny problem—her husband.
So, I do what any red-blooded, possessed made man would do and I proposition him.
Five million dollars for one weekend with his beautiful young wife.
He agrees, like I knew he would, because he needs the money and he wants his secrets kept hidden from Don D’Onofrio.
Valentina is livid, but I like my women stubborn and fiery and the more she resists, the more I crave her.
One taste of those lush lips is all it takes to seal my fate.
I’m not giving her back.
I don’t care about the existing bad blood between New York and Florida or how this will start a war.
Men have gone into battle for less.
Valentina is the first woman I have wanted to keep, and no other man is ever touching her again.
She is going nowhere, consequences be damned.
I am taking what’s mine.
This is a dark romance and some scenes may be triggering. A full content warning list is available on the author's website.

Taking What's Mine by Siobhan Davis ™My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Taking What's Mine by Siobhan Davis is a scorching hot, adrenaline-fueled mafia romance that delivers on every level. Set in the dark and twisted Mazzone Mafia universe, this standalone spinoff exceeded all my expectations. Fiero and Valentina's story is equally intoxicating and utterly addictive. Taking What's Mine reminded me of The Godfather meets Indecent Proposal—a wickedly captivating mix of power, temptation, and forbidden love. I recommend starting with the earlier Mazzone books to fully appreciate the intricate backstory of loyalty, lies, and passion that defines this world. The countdown begins for Protecting What's Mine—Cristian's forbidden age-gap, single-dad, mafia romance, arriving in 2025. I can't wait to read it. If you have any trigger questions, please check out Siobhan's website.
