Rising Waters, the second book in the Crime Daily Podcast series by Aleatha Romig, had me hooked from the first page to the last. This dark, twisty psychological thriller kept me guessing every step of the way. While it's the second book in the series, Rising Waters can absolutely be read as a standalone.

Jill left her hometown six years ago, determined to put a scandalous chapter of her life behind her. But when a beloved high school football coach dies under suspicious circumstances, she's pulled back into a small town filled with deadly secrets. As the investigation unfolds, long-buried truths begin to surface, and it quickly becomes clear that almost everyone is hiding something.

Aleatha Romig expertly weaves a wicked web of murder, lies, and deception into a twisty, high-stakes mystery that kept me guessing. The ending was perfection. While many of the questions are answered, the story closes with a pseudo-cliffhanger that left me wanting more. What a banger! I can’t wait to read the next book in this addictive series.

On the Edge by Aleatha Romig will keep you on the edge of your seat. This new adult romance thriller focuses on Rae, a broke college student, who scores a coveted summer job at a local country club. Rae soon learns that some of the affluent members and the club's management are shady and lecherous. The rich come to play and prey on the club's staff members with deadly consequences. This fast-paced story is a quick and addictive read.

4.5 - I would highly recommend that you read the free prequel Fate’s Demand by Aleatha Romig before you binge Devil’s Deal (Devils Duet #1).

In Devil’s Deal (Devils Duet #1), Aleatha spins a sinfully sexy, mafia romance with a New Orleans backdrop, that is filled with wicked twists and turns. This book is going to keep you captivated from the first to the last page. As always, Aleatha knows how to keep readers hooked. I love her characters. This story is intoxicating and highly addictive. I can’t wait to devour Angel’s Promise (Devil’s Duet #2) when it releases on June 29th. I love being Aleatha’d
