I was just an asshole.

She nodded and although her eyes stayed shut, a tear rolled down her cheek. I sucked it off her chin before it could fall to the floor.

I know Hawkin is the rock star in this book…but K. Bromberg rocked this one. Her writing style is truly addictive.  Just when I questioned whether a series could get any better…it did.  Sweet Ache is absolute Kindle Crack.  Mark your calendar for this June 2nd release.

Quinlan
 I walk toward him, the sight of him slightly unkempt with a carefree smile he hasn’t possessed for days calls to my libido on so many levels it’s ridiculous. He brings a shot of something to his mouth and I don’t even give a second thought to what it is because I know I’ll taste it on my lips momentarily.
He hums deep in his throat when I step up into his body and there is something so inherently sexy about the sound—knowing that I caused that reaction—that together with the feel of his firm body against mine lets me know there will be no interruptions this time.
He looks at me, eyes darkening and one hand sliding beneath my shirt a beat before our lips meet in a hungry, no-holds-barred kiss. Shuttergirl is a picture-perfect second chance romance.  An A-list Hollywood heart throb and a hard driven paparazzi cross paths for a second time. By Hollywood standards, the hot movie star and the queen of all photogs shouldn’t even like each other. The star-crossed lovers try and fight their undeniable attraction. What happens when the cameras turn and all eyes are on the girl behind the camera.  Will this camera-ready couple survive the biggest screen test of their lives?  

CD Reiss does a fantastic job capturing the gritty underbelly of Hollywood’s infamous paparazzi.   Shuttergirl is a sexy and sweet read with a perfect Hollywood ending. Get this one.

I stroked his hair, waist deep in peace, all worry gone for the moment, and floating in no more than an ocean of gratitude. I must have been more vulnerable than I realized, or he’d reopened some wound with his kindness, because though my sweet reverie stayed, as the minutes passed, a layer of need fitted itself on top of it.
I needed to tell him, if not the details, the outlines of who I was.
“I want you to know,” I whispered, starting somewhere small, then everything I didn’t want to say spilled out. “I have stuff. I’ve never been to jail, but you know, it’s stuff, and it’s ugly, and it scares me. Because, I mean, you’re so perfect, and I’m… I’m just a mess. I’m not whole. I’m a bunch of pieces of a person I cobbled together.” My eyes got wet when I thought of the comparisons between us and that picture in my silverware drawer. “So if you have to move on when you realize that, I’ll understand. You have an image, and if anyone understands protecting a career, it’s me. I mean, I’ll be mad, don’t get that wrong, but also.” I swallowed and blinked, shifting my head so he wouldn’t feel the tear on his forehead. “I won’t blame you.”
I waited for an answer. Anything. A change in position or a word on any subject. The weather. Sports. Something. But all he did was breathe.
I smiled so wide, tears fell into my mouth. He was sleeping.

This sinfully sexy rock star romance doesn’t skip a beat.  Sweet Ache rocked my world and pulled on every emotional heart string.  You need to schedule a play date with Hawkin Play and the boys from Bent. I know Hawkin is the rock star in this book…but K. Bromberg rocked this one. Her writing style is truly addictive.  Just when I questioned whether a series could get any better…it did.  Sweet Ache is absolute Kindle Crack.  Mark your calendar for this June 2nd release.

Sweet Ache is a standalone book and based on characters from K. Bromberg’s best-selling Driven series.  If you haven’t read the previous books in the Driven series, you will not feel lost.

Did I mention that Kellan Kyle and the boys from the DBags make a guest appearance in Sweet Ache. Enough said.
