“Come here, I wanna tell you a secret,” he whispered, placing his elbows on the desk and leaning in. She mimicked his stance, leaning in until their faces were closer than they were apart. “You’re right,” he said, his minty breath tickling over her face, not helping her body’s coiling reaction to his proximity. “The queen is the most important piece on that board. She has the power to slay everybody, anyway she wants. The game always looks more promising when your queen is there, but sometimes she’s taken and you have to depend on whatever pieces of the court are left. Maybe you have a bishop and a rook and you can get far with those, or knight…eh, but still, you don’t have the sense of security that queen gives you,” he continued, the gaze in his eyes was so intense she could make out the perfect lines of dark brown that etched the lighter shade of his pupil and she didn’t dare look away from him. He leaned closer then, the side of his face grazing hers, the little hairs on his face making her shiver profusely and the low chuckle that followed, right beside her ear causing that shiver to turn into two. “So you see, Mara, some people think they can target my queen, take her from me, do with her as they wish. They think I’ll just stand back with my dick tucked between my legs and watch them treat her like a puppet.” He inched even closer, his cologne making her head spin, his words were low, husky, said in the voice he’d used countless times to ground out her name when he was thrusting his dick inside her. She could practically feel him sliding against her, his breath over her as she panted beneath him. Her nipples tightened at the visual in her head as she pictured her nails scraping against his muscled back. “But she’s not a puppet. She’s a motherfucking queen.”

Full Disclosure (Nice Guys Book #2) by Kindle Alexander is Mitch’s story.  We first met Mitch, who is a Deputy Marshal in Double Full (Nice Guys #1). While out at a popular gay bar Mitch meets a hot cowboy named Cody.  Cody is a country boy who is also in law enforcement. The two share a kiss just as Mitch is called away on urgent business.  Mitch can’t get the hot blonde Texas Ranger out of his head and contacts him.  The two finally go out on a date and rekindle their nuclear attraction.  Things start to get serious between the gunslingers while Mitch is desperately working to catch another hate crime murder suspect.  Will Mitch be able to catch a serial killer or will he strike little too close to home?

Full Disclosure was a steamy, sexy romance and wasn’t “heavy” from an emotional standpoint.  I liked the way Mitch and Cody’s romance evolved as the murder mystery plot unfolded.  This story didn’t solely focus on the couples sexcapades but managed to burn up my Kindle screen. Both guys were just delicious (especially Mitch).  Mitch was hot, smart, cocky and could be a bit  sarcastic (in a good way). Once again Kindle delivers another hot gay romance. The installment in the Nice Guys series is packing some extra heat...hot guys with glocks.  Go one click this one.

I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few 
weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write 
with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group.
