4.5 stars. What a way to kick off the new year! I just devoured Waiting on You by Nikki Ash, and let me tell you—it was everything I didn't know I needed. This gem is the third standalone in the Love and Whiskey series, and it delivers ALL the feels and magic.
Paige, fresh out of a relationship with a cheating, self-absorbed jerk, literally stumbles into the arms of Nate. Nate, a swoon-worthy hotel executive on business in London, falls head over heels for Paige after one unforgettable night. Cue the nuclear attraction and life-altering plot twists the two worked hard to navigate— an unexpected pregnancy, career decisions, and family issues.
I can't say I've had many one-night stands when I was single, but if Nate had been in the picture? I'd have fallen just as hard as Paige 😍 Waiting on You is a perfect mix of heat and heart. This sexy and sweet romance left me grinning from ear to ear. Add it to your TBR or one-click on 1/9.
