“What was all that?”
“What was what?”

 “All that posturing down there? Is that why you brought me? To have your own groupie?”

 “What? What the hell are you talking about?”

 “All the special attention, all the sweet touching and singing to me like that. I’ve never felt more used.”

 “I wasn’t using you, Violet.”

 “Then what were you doing? You’ve never acted like that before.”

 “I didn’t realize it would bother you.”

 “It bothers me because you did it as part of your show.”

 “Trust me. That had absolutely nothing to do with my show.”

 “Of course it did! Why else would you act like that?”

 Thoughts of the way Rand was looking at her, of the ways I know  he was thinking of touching her, gets my anger fired back up again. I turn toward Violet, stepping in closer, my face inches from hers. “You wanna know why? I’ll tell you why. It had nothing to do with me putting on a show. It had everything to do with that slimy asshole hitting on you. It was pissing me off.”

 “What? Because some random guy was flirting with me? That’s ridiculous!”

“Is it? Is it ridiculous that I hated the way he talked to you? Is it ridiculous that it made me want to rip out his eyes out every time he looked at you? Is it ridiculous that I wanted to kill him when you smiled at him?”

Violet shrinks back, away from my anger. “Jet, I’m sure that was just part of the way he does business.”

“The hell it was! He wanted you, and it was eating me up inside. That is why I was touching you. I wanted him to know that you are mine.”

Violet’s voice is soft. “But I’m not yours.”

I take a few long, deep, ragged breaths. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t want you to be.”

Who can forget meeting Nico in Until November? I sure haven’t! Dark blonde hair, blue eyes, gauges in both ears, a pierced eyebrow…left me wondering what else might be pierced?? I knew right away that he was the black sheep of the Maysen family and I couldn’t wait for his story. The Maysen brothers are a tight family but Nico has paved his own path. He left the family business to become a bounty hunter. He’s the youngest and the least trusting of the bunch and thought his brothers were crazy for settling down and actually believing in the Maysen curse. 

 If you’ve read the other books , Until November, Until Trevor, and Until Lily, then you’re familiar with 
the Maysen curse. When they least expect it, they meet a woman and it’s BOOM, love at first sight. 
They’ll do anything to keep her and anything to keep her happy. 

 Nico and Sophie meet through unusual circumstances. As soon as he sees Sophie, it’s BOOM time for 
him! Sophie has some past traumas that make it difficult for her to trust Nico. Their story is about Nico showing her it’s okay to move forward and trust again. Of course there are some hot and steamy (did I say HOT?) scenes like only Reynolds can write! Nico also has to put up with some serious ribbing from his brothers and nephew about falling so hard for Sophie. 

 This series has quickly become one of my favorites! I’ve come to enjoy spending time with these 
characters and love how Reynolds always brings everyone back in each book. Until Nico has a wonderful epilogue that had me smiling from ear to ear! 

 Nico and Sophie’s story alternates between POVs. This is a perfect book if you’re looking for something romantic, steamy, and angst-free. I recommend reading this series in order.

Excerpt:  Until Nico
I look around and see a guy staring at me. He’s about my age, not much taller than my five feet five inches, cute, and wearing a suit and tie. I start to wave to see if he’s the one I’m meeting, but then another guy catches my attention. He’s about six three and huge, and I don’t mean just in height; his body looks like it’s been chiseled from stone. He’s wearing black boots, washed-out blue jeans, and a white t-shirt, and every piece of skin exposed is covered with tattoos. His ears have those gauge thingies in them. His dark blond hair is cut low on the sides, and the top is in a fauxhawk. His jaw is strong, with a few days of stubble, and his eyes are so blue that they almost look like contacts. He is beautiful in a way that is unusual but no less gorgeous.
His eyes come to me before looking away quickly, and the next second, they come back to me and do a head-to-toe sweep. I gulp at the intense expression on his face. I glance past him to the other guy—or at least try to—but Mr. Tattoo starts towards me, blocking my view. I want to take a step back, but I can’t go anywhere. Then I see my phone in his hand.
“This yours?” he asks.
I nod like an idiot. He shakes his head, running his free hand down his face, and then his eyes sweep over me again.

“You have got to be fucking kidding me,” he says, seeming upset.
I look down at myself, wondering how I could’ve offended him. I look normal—or my working-outside-the-house normal. When I’m at home working, I wear baggy sweats I cut off to make shorts or pajama pants that hang off of me along with tank tops or T-shirts. The few days a week I get out of the house, I like to dress up or at least wear heels.
“This cannot be fucking happening,” he growls, and I wonder if he is completely crazy.
“What?” I ask, finally finding my voice. I have to tilt my head way back; even in my four-inch heels, he still towers over me.
“You.”
“Me, what?” I ask, confused.
“Never mind. Who is this?” He presses the button on my phone, the screen lights up, and a picture of Jamie Dornan wearing nothing but a pair of jeans takes up the screen.
“Um…that’s Jamie,” I reply, wondering why he is asking but too afraid to ask him; the look on his face isn’t very inviting for conversation.
“He your man?”
“I wish,” I mumble under my breath and hear him growl.
My head flies back as I search his face; his jaw is ticking, and his knuckles of the hand holding my phone are turning white.
“What does that mean?” he asks.
“That’s Jamie Dornan. He’s playing Fifty. I don’t know him.” I feel my cheeks heat up and look down at my feet.
What the hell’s wrong with me? Why am I not afraid right now? I have been scared of virtually everything my whole life, and now, when I should be running for cover, I’m not scared at all. Just a little embarrassed.
“I don’t have time for this,” he says, and I don’t know what he’s talking about, but I all of a sudden really want my phone out of his hand before he crushes it to smithereens.
When I look up again, I see that he is walking away. My eyebrows come together, and I wonder what he is doing. Then I realize he still has my cell.
“Hey! You can’t steal my phone!” I run after him, grabbing his arm.
He looks down at me then stops short. I’m completely caught off guard when he wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me flush against him. His free hand goes into my hair and pulls my head back, and then he kisses me. No, not kisses—he consumes me. My body starts to buzz like someone just plugged me into an electrical outlet, and I start to feel lightheaded. When he pulls his mouth from mine, I gasp, my fingers going to my lips.  
“What was that?” I whisper, looking into his eyes.
“What’s your name?” he asks, still holding me close.
“Sophie,” I tell him, my answer spoken behind my fingers.
His body is as hard as a rock against mine; I can feel every muscle, every contour, and it takes everything in me to keep breathing. I realize this is the first time in my life I have ever felt small, my curvy figure never having allowed it before.
“Sophie,” he repeats, standing up to his full height and pulling me with him. I look around and wonder if time has stopped for anyone else.  “My name is Nico.”
“Of course it is,” I say, staring into his amazing eyes, thinking that a guy who looks like him would have a name like that—cool and hot, something that rolls easily off your tongue but is hard to forget.
“I’ll see you when I get back into town, Sophie,” he says as he lets me go, making sure I’m steady on my feet.
“What?” I ask, looking around again.
“Here’s your phone.” He hands me my cell, and I’m still a little lightheaded when he starts to walk off again. I watch in a daze as he leaves, but then he turns around to face me from a few yards away.  “Sophie?”
“Yeah?”  
“Change the picture on your phone,” he demands before he turns and disappears into the crowd.

Cliffhanger: Yes…but don’t let it scare you away from reading this book.

Holy Hell…where do I start so I can remain spoiler free? Ok…here it goes…

Cat (Catarina) is a horny NIT (Nun In Training).

Her surrogate father isn’t really a “Father”.

Her best friend Frankie is a fellow Sister (who is banging the Father at the church).

Her second best friend is a 24-inch Katana sword.

Cat is a trained assassin...who likes to cook, garden, pray and prey on her targets.  Her targets are the dregs of society – child molesters and monsters.  They don’t stand a chance against Cat, aka Night Fury.

Nothing appears as it seems.

That’s all you are going to get from me.  I promised a spoiler free review and you need to experience this book on your own.  This short, twisted story reads like a wicked combination of the movie Point of No Return movie and the hit TV show Blacklist -- on speed.  I’m saying my prayers...please let Book 2/Act 2 come fast.  EXCERPT: Fallon’s point of view
He kisses me hard and hungry and spins me facing away from him. Luca pushes me against the glass window and pins my hands above my head.
 A shudder resounds through me as my hands contact the cold glass, and he gazes at me in the window reflection. “Keep them there,” he orders. My hips are pulled back slightly, my back arches. Luca’s fingertips glide down my spine. Palming my behind, he massages the swell of my ass in both hands. The heat radiating off him is absorbed by my back as he leans in close to kiss the shell of my ear. The tips of his thumbs touch my entrance. Going down into a kneeling position, his nose traces down my back, stopping twice to leave a rough kiss in his wake. Luca bites both cheeks and a low growl leaks from his lips.
      He starts licking me from front to back with the flat of his tongue. All the while his hands keep cupping my behind. “I want to hear you, Fallon.” His tongue traces my folds, the inside of my thighs, the bundle of nerves are being sucked into his warm and wet mouth. And finally his tongue moves inside me, licking my inner walls.
I scream his name repeatedly and throw my head back when his tongue pleasures me into climax.
      Unfastening his pants and pushing down his boxer briefs, Luca seats himself in me roughly. “I’m always so fucking hard for you. Fuck, Fallon,” he groans. My earlobe is caught between his teeth as his hands hold my wrists against the window.
My back curves more to take him in deep.
Luca tangles his right hand in my hair and turns my head to thrust his tongue in my mouth, meeting mine, compelling me. A low, rasping sound escapes him while he keeps up his punishing strokes until he spills inside me. He holds himself still, our breathing regulates, and his lips graze my shoulder. As he pulls out leisurely – tightening his grip around my locks, forcing my stare forward –
Luca takes my left hand and strokes his come around with our entangled fingers. “Rub it in, Fallon,” he whispers in a hoarse tone against my ear while locking eyes with me in the window.
