I love this book and S.L. Jennings.  Her dialogue is funny as hell.  This sexy, sticky (there is ice cream involved) sweet romance tops my book list of man candy fun! Justice’s innermost thoughts had me laughing out loud. As many times as I laughed I wanted to smack him and him in the end hug him. Taint is a fun read and I loved it.  Go one click this one.

I think I know what a few of you might be thinking…another book in this series? Didn’t it end in book three?  No… it all ended in book #4. Consequences series fans BHE:  The Missing Years is an absolute must read.  Aleatha originally planned to have this story be a companion book. However it turned into a full blown story of many of the male characters in the book. This story is not a mishmash of all of the other books in this series regurgitated to create another book.  Book four completely wraps of this series with the points of view of Tony’s men, new information, the untold aftermath and a look into the future.

The way in which this book unravels is as brilliant and Romig’s writing itself.  Harry, John, Phil, Brent and Tony read “My Life as It Didn’t Appear” by Claire as told to Meredith.  Claire’s book divulges every last damming detail and emotion like a “Behind Her Eyes” story. Claire tells her side of the story after being painted as a gold digger, a fame whore and a worse a potential murderer by the media. Claire needed to clear the air and her name.  Because of Tony & Claire’s notoriety the book became a best seller.  Everyone in Tony & Claire’s circles reads Claire’s book.  Book 4 chronicles each of the men’s reactions from when Tony, Claire and Nicol confront Marie to the aftermath that ensued.  We get to be a fly on the wall watching the Rawlings family and friends in the future 2017. Along with Tony and his men we get to read excerpts from Claire’s infamous book and see how it all really went down in Convicted.  Every last unanswered question or little nugget of the story you wondered about is answered.  This is all I am going to say as you need to experience this book.

I have to point out my favorite part of this book was reading about Tony being incarcerated and going to therapy three days week.  Tony was made to read Claire’s book and discuss it with his therapist. He had to confront the enormity of the situation.  Tony has an epiphany of the parallels to his life in jail now and what he had inflicted on Claire.  He radically changes in prison…he underwent a metamorphosis into a loving and unselfish man filled with emotion.  Behind His Eyes - The Missing Years might be my favorite book in this incredible series.   One click this book right NOW.

Bang is one of the most unforgettably dark suspense thrillers to land on my Kindle.  This “unputabledownable” book is absolute Kindle Crack.  I was completely captivated from the first to the last page.  I’m still thinking about the characters, the plot, everything….and I read it a few weeks ago.  E.k. Blair asked early reviewers to refrain from posting spoilers about Bang,  so you’ll need to read this book to experience this great story.  I’m glad I was kept “in the dark” and refuse to spoil your reading experience.  Bang is equally raw and intense.  It’s a story about love, lies, deception and revenge.    Bang deals with some pretty intense subject matter.  This is as real as it gets.  E.k Blair does not sugarcoat her characters’ actions in any way. Bang is one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride with a nuclear meltdown of an ending. This story was painful to read at times and had me saying ONWTH (Oh No What The Hell) about 100 times.  E.k Blair’s writing is brilliant to say the very least.   I highly recommend this book...cliffhanger and all!
