Jess Mackey is a liar...she has to be. It's her only way to stay alive.  She is hiding in plain sight and really wants to stay that way... She can’t date, she can’t party...and she can’t fall for her fellow classmate Devin Castile.  Jess meets Devin, a Harley riding, inked up alpha-male hottie. Devin knows she’s hiding something and wants to be her knight in shining armor… and he wants her in a bad way.
A Terrible Love by Marata Eros was far from terrible...it was high grade Kindle Crack!  I couldn't get enough of this book -- it's a page tuner loaded with drama, heartache, steam and suspense.  ATL earned a top ten spot on my Romance with a Side of Smut must reads list. Four and a half stars!!!!!

Mogul by Ginger Voight

HOW?...WHY?...did I ever let this book/series sit on my TBR list (smacking myself upside my head). Hands down Ginger Voights Groupie trilogy (Groupie, Rockstar and Mogul) is one of my all-time favorite rock star romance reads EVER. I read...or should I say devoured all three books in a few days. I haven’t been so in love with a series since SC Stephens Thoughtless series. I am in no way comparing the two...except for my love of both (and the rock star love triangle drama dynamic). Be prepared for a hardcore emotional roller coaster ride filled with betrayal, heartbreak and redemption with Vanni, Andy and a few others who become emotional road kill on tour with the band. Vanni is a HOT love STARVED man whore, pt-time uber douche and prick on the brink of fame... Andy is a young, downtown-to-earth Tennessee based travel/entertainment writer. Andy is your average girl...and not your typical stick thin knock out rocker chick love interest.

This series wasn't pretty...Voight got down and dirty into the bowels of the entertainment business. I held my breath half the time as I scrambled from one angst filled page to the next. The trilogy captured the highs of their drug addiction like love for each other... and their anguish filled downward spiral. Each one the three books made me want hug or drop kick Vanni, Andy and Graham (who you will read about). I felt like my heart was filleted as my stomach turned to the beat of this EPIC rock and roll soap opera. Their chemistry was smoldering...but not in a smutastick way. I love my smut books.... and this series had a lot of steam...but wasn’t over the top. Voight’s Groupie series is brilliant and sucked me in from page one... it was raw and very real...with fans, stalkers, fame and fortune. I could see this series turning into one hell of a movie. Big love for Ginger Voight...this woman can write and she sure as hell can tell a good love story. This series is Kindle Crack for romance, bad boy, rock God loving readers like me. Rock on....and read this series NOW! ... Cue song -  The Verve Bitter Sweet Symphony. The end…

Connected by Kim Karr

Not even the parade of freaks wearing nut huggers on the beach was going to distract me from finishing Kim Karrs book Connected (Connections). Yesterday, I acquired a suck ass sunburn because I was so into this book ( I'm on vacation in the Dominican Republic). This morning I loaded up with SPF 80 or whatever the bottle promised, found a palm tree that I could read under for a while and paid off my drink server to give me top shelf Patron instead of the shit that I can use to take my nail polish off with. Nothing was going to distract me.

There are books with heavy cliff hangers that have inflicted some I NEED TO READ the next book NOW angst for me like S.C Stephens Effortless, Georgia Cates Beauty From Pain, Gail McHugh's Collide, Rebecca Donovan's Breathing series... you get the picture... now Connections has made my list. Oh my freaking God!  This book is high grade Kindle crack! I refuse to spoil this book for others... but what story of mind fuckery, love, loss, heartbreak, lust, grief,  throw in some fine smut and a murder mystery ( you might think you have it figured out... you don't). I should be effing pissed at this cliffEFFINGhanger...but this book rocked so much that I can't be mad. Gibert, my beach bitch drink pimp better supersize my next cocktail for the book hangover I am already starting to feel. Did I mention the FANtactic references about DBags and The Mighty Storm? Don't miss this book...Connections has made my favorite shelf.

My Review:

Maddy Jennings goes home for her brother’s wedding and things won’t ever be the same.
I really liked Love Me Back by Michelle Lynn. This was one heck of a love triangle. I think I need to go to my Cardiologist since my heart is still suffering from emotional whiplash. LMB is told via Maddy’s POV and shuffles between the past and present. Maddy is indecisive and always trying to do the right thing…even if it’s not really the right thing for her. LMB is so well written and really pulled on my heartstrings. I enjoyed the way Michelle Lynn took her time and really developed the characters, relationships, and history. I will say there were times I wanted to drop kick Maddy for some of the choices she made. Ugh…some of her angst-filled decision making was killing me. All in all, I would recommend Love Me Back - especially if you enjoy love triangles….this is it!! I would recommend this emotion-packed love story. Four love triangle filled stars!

Wow…effing wow… I just devoured Raine Miller’s Naked (The Blackstone Affair Part 1) in one sitting. The house could have been on fire…I would have grabbed my Kindle and then called 911. Naked is scorching hot fast paced read. Total Bookgasm.
Ethan meets Brynee at a UK art gallery opening where her nude portrait is being showcased. Brynee is an American grad student and part-time model that left home to escape a horrible situation. Ethan, is a smoking hot (think David Gandy), successful British company owner who could easily talk the panties off any women who crosses his path. Ethan pursues Brynee like a stalker freak in heat and happens to be very dominant in every which way you could imagine... He also happens to be just as caring as he is controlling. Ethan and Brynee have some supersized secrets that will either make or break their relationship if they can heal, reveal and move on from their scared pasts.
I have to say that Ethan and Brynee’s nuclear mutual attraction creates a whole lot a smutastic fun…and a great story! Naked unravels like a sweet hybrid mix of The Crossfire Series and the Fifty Shades books. Without a doubt, I would say pick up this novella. Yes, there is a cliffy…but have no fear All In (book 2) is out…and Eyes Wide Open (book 3) will be released on May 14th. Plan on reading all three….you won’t want to put this series down.

The Cockpit....I could never look into the front of any flying death bus in the sky since I was in an emergency plane crash landing. It kind of scared me for life... leaving me with the inability to read books, watch TV shows or movies that have some type of airplane plot in them...like Lost, Cast Away, Snakes on a Plane -- you get it. I put off reading the Up in the Air series by R.K. Lilley because of my plane issue. Well...I got the hell over it after scoring a first class ticket with Mr. James Canvendish. In book one of this fast paced smutastic book/trilogy we are introduced to Bianca, her best friend Stephen and James. Bianca is a young, gorgeous flight attendant with her own mental carry-on bags full of issues. While at work, she who catches the eye of first class passenger James Cavandish. James is a young, super effing hot, wealthy, man-whore who is deeply involved in the BDSM lifestyle. James sets his sights on dominating Bianca - who happens to be a virgin. Bianca and James end up falling for each other in their own special banged up way. I'm going to remain spoiler free here....and just say they have to overcome many emotional obstacles before their relationship crashes and burns on a runway.

If you devoured 50 Shades or the This Man series....you will want to check this super HOT read. I'm on book three now. I have to say I like this series way more than 50 Shades...just for the writing style alone. This is one hell of a steamy page turner...This is Kindle Crack.

While this story was gut wrenching at times…I did find myself laughing from the dialogue between Angel, Kami and Dom. Before I die I will call someone a “cum dumpster”. While there is drama…there is also a sweet steam factor. Blaine and Kami’s chemistry is there…in a big way. Oh Blaine….what a rock star. He might be my new book boyfriend. This book is not to be missed. FIVE haunting stars! No cliffhanger.
