Perfectly Damaged by E.L. Montes

Review to follow on release. Big love for this book.

E.L. Montes knocked it out of the park with Perfectly Damaged. This deeply moving and beautiful story is about finding love, overcoming emotional obstacles, compassion and acceptance.

Jenna suffers from schizoaffective disorder, a mental illness where Jenna experiences mood swings, hallucinations, as well as voices in her head. She manages to function at times with the help of medication. In addition to her mental issues she battles the pain in her heart after losing
her sister.

Jenna meets Logan, a construction worker on her parents' estate. Logan and Jenna are immediately attracted to each other after sharing a kiss on a dare. She slowly lets him into her life, but she is afraid that he will dump her once he learns about her issues. Logan embraces Jenna’s quirky mannerisms and her see-saw behavior. He has his own issues and emotional baggage he is dealing with, as well. Jenna and Logan are so good together…they are perfectly damaged. Can they grow as a couple together and heal each other?

Jenna’s disease and the way in which it affects her relationships with Logan, family and friends is told in a very realistic manner. I felt Jenna’s anxiety and apprehension and was knee deep in ugly tears and relief when I reached the end of this book. Montes' writing style is polished, and this story and the delivery were flawless. Her
writing has evolved on a whole new emotional level. Perfectly Damaged is such a great story...not uplifting...until the Colleen Hoover-esque of
emotional ending. I would recommend one this one.

Thin Love was anything but thin on love.

This crazy train roller coaster romance is about Keria and Kona. Kona is a hot Hawaiian man-whore college football player. He falls for Kiera – who is beautiful, driven and very hot headed. K & K’s story unravels from alternating POV. Their story is filled with violence, addiction and a whole lot of crazy over a 16 year period. Extremely well written and character development was incredible...flawless. There were times I felt that Thin Man was a little long...but I wouldn’t dare skim through this book for the fear of missing anything. One click this one!

Vanquish picks up where Deliver left off without skipping a beat. This is Van’s story and everything that happened when Deliver ended. I know this book could be read as a stand-alone…but reading Deliver first is the way to go. Deliver provides all of the necessary back story on Liv and Van’s completely effed-up and dysfunctional world full of pain and twisted desires.

If you already read Deliver, you know that Van can be one hell of a twisted and sadistic beast. In Vanquish, we get to see another side of Van when he meets Amber. Amber is a former beauty queen and fitness model who dropped out of the contest scene and went off the grid. Like Van, she has a boat load of issues. Amber suffers from a variety of mental health issues including agoraphobia and OCD. She meets Van after she lets him in her home. Van will rape her, break her and fall in love with her. She is accepting of his violent behavior and fondness of dolls and just wants to clean his kitchen (I told you these two were mental).

Van finally has a reason to try and act a little more humane….since he wants a relationship with his daughter and Amber. These two are two lost souls are broken and scarred from life. They find each other and together they try to make the past vanquish.

Once again Pam Godwin delivers another crazy love story. She did a fantastic job developing the characters and the plot. Vanquish is
not as intense and dark as Deliver. I really enjoyed this book and even ended up liking Van. He met his match…a woman who was already a captive and a slave to her own illness…she wasn’t going anywhere. Amber is so effed up that she couldn't really grasp how whacked out Van is. I wouldn’t say Vanquish is dark erotica, but is more of a psychological romance. Go one click this one!

A cold smile tipped his lips as he chuckled. Then his expression sobered. “Walk to the kitchen.”

Fucking psychopath. He stood right in the doorway, taking up the whole damned hall. At over six feet tall with a muscled body cut from stone, he could squash her without breaking a sweat.

She didn't want to go near him. He was terrifying. But being forced outside was worse. She
straightened her back and headed toward him.

As she slid by, his arm caught her waist and yanked her back against his chest. She slapped at his hand, bucking against him, and his arm clenched tighter. His erection jabbed against her backside, his breath hot at her ear. “Fighting and squirming only turns me on. Don't stop.”

She immediately stilled. God, he wasn't lying. His dick was undeniably more pronounced
