“What’s the matter, Charlie? I promise, I won’t
bite… unless you’re into that sort of thing.” He pauses, and I can feel my skin
blush as his eyes wander down my body and then back up again where his eyes
rest on my lips. “Because if so, then I most certainly do.”
“Whether you bite or not is none of my concern,
and as far as what I’m into… that’s none of your business,” I say, a little too
quickly, causing him to chuckle.
His eyes are hooded and he looks at me for a
moment before responding.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. You don’t have to tell
me your deep, dark secrets today. We have plenty of time for that. But I won’t
forget that you didn’t say no.” He winks, stepping back from me, as if he’s
forcing me to come to him. I’m not some plaything he can mess with, so I just
cross my arms and stare at him. A worthy adversary, he stands stoically in
place, not moving, as if he could play this game all day.

I'm a twenty six year old book junkie who
is also obsessed with sports. Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds are my teams! I work for
the government during the day, hang out with Air National Guard on the
weekends, and am married to a guy 15 inches taller than me. We're quite the
pair! We currently live right outside of Dayton, OH with our two cats.

was a librarian, so it was a given. Heck, she even made sure we watched
Wishbone instead of the Smurfs. In 2011 when I graduated from college, my mom

me curled up with my Kindle, ignoring the rest of the world. I love my sports
