The Rocker Who Shatters Me by Terri Anne Browning

Sometimes winning isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. Devlin and Zander made a bet to see who could be the first one to sleep with Natalie.  Natalie finds out about the bet and is devastated.  She thought they had something real. Devlin fell for Natalie, and it looks like he lost his girl… Can Devlin make Natalie believe she's the one?  Will more secrets and lies tear them apart?

While I liked TRWSM – it wasn’t my favorite installment in this nine book series.  Terri’s writing was great; this story was crazy, sexy steamy….I just didn’t love the characters so much.  Dev and his hair obsession got on my nerves, and Nat could be a little too immature.  If you are a fan of this series (like I am), you have to one click this one.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active... I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could of improved the story if they took another direction so i thought it best that i tell my own.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I'm not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I'm a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

It was like any other night in the hospital for Dr. Rebecca Dahlman....until her ex ended up as her patient in the ER.  Dominic Prince is a smoking hot British rock star who broke Rebecca’s heart years ago.  Rebecca professed her love to him, and he left her.  Dom let his childhood abandonment issues get in the way and he ran off leaving the love of his life.  Will these two get a second chance?  Can they put all of their issues behind them and move forward?

I enjoyed this second chance love story and was captivated from the first page to the last. I will admit that I wish I read After Midnight (Book #1) first…but this book can be read as a standalone.  I loved the characters (especially Dom).  Great rock star romance with a sweet HEA.  How did I not know about Sarah Grimm before this book?  I enjoyed her writing style!

Sarah Grimm is a wife and mother of two—five if you count her much-loved dogs. She resides in beautiful West Michigan, near the white sandy beaches of Lake Michigan.
The youngest of four, Sarah can’t remember a time when she wasn’t writing. In fact, her siblings believe she began writing in utero to pass the time.
