So if they want it, they better work for it—pay for it.” Blaire didn’t have a picture perfect childhood.  She was a lonely “ugly duckling” who was desperate for her parents to love and adore her…she wanted to be noticed.  Her dreams of being worshiped came true when she morphed into a beautiful young woman.  At a very young age, Blaire learned to use her body to garner the attention she craved and the special gifts it could bring her.

Blaire is a beautiful disaster. She felt beautiful on the outside and ugly and worthless on the inside. She turns into a gold-digging slut who likes to do nothing more than to be swathed in Gucci and pick her teeth with 100 dollar bills. She will only date men who can keep her in her expensive lifestyle. Blaire doesn't expect to be loved; she wants money and to be adored by rich men who think her pussy is paved in diamonds.

“I’ve always known who I am.  No point pretending I’m a good girl with great values because that would be a complete lie. I like money too much. I like the safety it offers.  The power. And all the things I can buy with it.”

She meets two men. Ronan isn’t wealthy, but for the first time she feels love for something other than money.  Old habits die hard, and Blaire starts to date Lawrence, who is a mega-millionaire. He might be her winning lottery  ticket to the bank account she also thought she wanted. He might make her forget about Ronan.

“Would it be so unforgivable if I stole a few more forbidden and happy moments with Ronan before he realizes how unworthy of anything remotely close to love I am? I’ve tasted heaven in Ronan’s arms and I don’t want to leave just yet.  Is it selfish of me.  Maybe.  Is it reckless of me? Definitely.”

This is where I tell you to stop reading this review and tell you to buy this book and see what happens. BUT FIRST, let me say that Mia Asher knocked it out of the park with her second book – Easy Virtue. She delivered a memorable story filled with raw and rich emotion.

This fast paced “unputdownable” book captivated me from the first to the last page. Easy Virtue is easily one of my top recommendations of the year! I will warn you that there is a cliffhanger…but don’t let that stop you cliffhanger haters from missing out on this incredible book.

I don’t know.

No, I don’t think so. I mean, how can I believe in love when I’ve never witnessed it? When it seems to only exist in books and films, or in the lives of more fortunate people than me? Trust me, I know.
