I finally popped my Andi Jaxon cherry. I've been hearing about this author’s m/m romance books for some time, and I finally decided to take the plunge. In Hidden Scars, Jeremy and Preston are roommates that play for the same college hockey team. Preston is a complex and grumpy perfectionist that is silently suffering from physical and mental abuse. Jeremy is a sweet guy that starts to fall for his prickly teammate. Jeremy knows that a good man is hiding beneath the barbwire-like exterior persona that Preston created for himself. Getting to know Preston is like peeling back the skin of an onion. He didn't expect to uncover Preston's heartbreaking secrets and the truth behind his tortured existence.
