4.5 Hidden Waters by Catherine Cowles is the third book in The Tattered & Torn Series. This book focuses on Addie and Beckett. Addie escaped her father's violent extremist group and is working hard to assimilate and live a normal life in Wolf Gap. Addie meets Beckett, who becomes her new housemate. Beckett moved back to Wolf Gap to face his demons and renew family ties. The two help each other move on from their dark pasts to find a bright future.
This slow-burning, small-town romantic suspense was heartfelt and hard to put down. I'm looking forward to reading Shattered Sea (The Tattered & Torn Series #4) when it releases on September 13th. This emotion-packed series of interconnected standalones is not to be missed.
