This book. Did I read the synopsis before I started it? Nope. It’s by Jay McLean. I will read anything written by her. Darkness Matters had a different vibe from Jay's other books. Darkness Matters was a tinge on the dark side. Andie and Noah’s story was layered with regret and sadness. These characters were scarred, and carried the weight of the universe in emotional baggage on their shoulders.
"The conclusion hits me like a shot of caffeine. It stirs me. Jolts me. Annihilates me. Darkness does matter. But so does hope. So does love. So does light."
Is this the end or just the beginning? I want more. Great story Jay!
