First Look: Review of Bang by E.k. Blair - 5+ Stars

Read my spoiler-free review of Bang. It's set to release on May 19th. I was so lucky to receive an advance review copy of this book...and I have to say that I'm a little bit obsessed with it. This book will end up on my top ten book favorite books of 2014!

Title: Bang
Author: E.k. Blair
Release Date: May 19, 2014

Synopsis:
They say when you take revenge against another you lose a part of your innocence.
But I’m not innocent.
I haven’t been for a very long time.
My innocence was stolen from me. Taken was the life I was supposed to have. The soul I was born with. The ruby heart embedded in a life full of hopes and dreams.

Gone.
Vanished.

I never even had a choice.
I mourn that life. Mourn the what-ifs.
Until now.
I’m ready to take back what was always meant to be mine.

But every plan has a fatal flaw. Sometimes it’s the heart.

**Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only as some scenes may be particularly disturbing.**

Bang is one of the most unforgettably dark suspense thrillers to land on my Kindle.  This “unputabledownable” book is absolute Kindle Crack.  I was completely captivated from the first to the last page.  I’m still thinking about the characters, the plot, everything….and I read it a few weeks ago.  E.k. Blair asked early reviewers to refrain from posting spoilers about Bang,  so you’ll need to read this book to experience this great story.  I’m glad I was kept “in the dark” and refuse to spoil your reading experience.  Bang is equally raw and intense.  It’s a story about love, lies, deception and revenge.    Bang deals with some pretty intense subject matter.  This is as real as it gets.  E.k Blair does not sugarcoat her characters’ actions in any way. Bang is one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride with a nuclear meltdown of an ending. This story was painful to read at times and had me saying ONWTH (Oh No What The Hell) about 100 times.  E.k Blair’s writing is brilliant to say the very least.   I highly recommend this book. 5+ BANGed up stars!
