Rachel wasn’t waiting for anyone to keep up. “I read an article on it earlier today, so then I  Googled it. Have any of you ever heard of tantric sex?” Shannon nodded her head but Maddy 
said no. Kaylee shook her head, but Rachel was already storming the castle. “Well, the concept is similar. It’s all Buddhist and higher level and stuff...but it’s fucking orgasms, you know? I mean...that shit’s insane! And to have someone doing it to you without expecting a blowjob in return?” She laughed. “I am so there.”

Maddy laughed along with her friend but then said, “Doesn’t that just make the person bringing it on an overpaid pretentious whore?”

“You would think so, but no. They are totally serious about it. You even keep your shirt on! 

They say they want to remove the goal—you know, that you have to orgasm. It’s more about the experience, focusing on the sensations. And it’s fifteen minutes. That’s it. And then you talk about it.”

He smiled again, and Kaylee could see he was nervous. She thought he must have imagined 

Rachel as a jaguar, and if she got anywhere near him on the open plain, she’d chase his ass, knock him down, and tear into his flesh.

Kaylee suspected Rachel just might consider it. The girl got horny when she drank, and her lips got loose to boot, so her sex life (or want of one) was not a secret when she was imbibing.

Rachel said, “We are going to Boulder next week. We have to do this.”

Kaylee felt the blood drain from her face. No way. No way in hell was she going to do something crazy like that.

“Oh, my God, yes!” Maddy said, her voice higher in pitch, close to a squeal. Shannon was 

enthusiastic as well, her head pumping up and down with vigor. The three women then turned to look at Kaylee.

She was going to have to say something. Damn it. She waved her hands in front of herself. 

“Oh, no, girls. That’s way out of my comfort zone.”

Rachel reached across the table, patting Kaylee’s hand. “Exactly why you have to do it.”

I LOVED Being Sawyer Knight. This steamy and sexy second chance rock star romance took me by surprise. Sawyer and Jake were both such likeable characters.  I have to say I wasn’t sure I liked Jake at first since he was so aggressive and cocky. Sawyer probably needed a body guard to protect him against Jake at first.

This sexy and sweet page turner warmed my heart and ended up fogging over my Kindle screen. Great writing, just delicious m/m chemistry and such a fun book. Fans of Kindle Alexander and Ann Lister will devour being Sawyer Night.  I can’t wait to read Ryder’s story in Taming Ryder (Souls of the Knight #2).

Eighteen year old Marlene is abandoned by her boyfriend Luke while she was eight months pregnant.  He takes off to pursue his dream of being a rock star.  Four years later Luke is a mega-rock star and shows up at her job while on tour and wants to meet his daughter and get his girl back.  But Marlene has found a new boyfriend and she and her daughter are about to move to France with him. Sparks fly and Luke has only a few short days to prove he is worthy of his ex and his daughter before they leave the country.

I had a difficult time forming any sort of a connection with Marlene and Luke. Luke was an uber dbag with no redeeming qualities. Marlene was a bit of a door mat and the way she dealt with her boyfriend wasn’t entirely fair.  I wish that some of the dialogue with her family was shorter and the plot was infused with a better balance of drama, angst and some additional character development. Love of a Rockstar ended too abruptly. I wish there had been an epilogue to tie up loose ends.  Overall, this was a sweet and sappy second chance romance.
