Seventeen year old Nicolette’s life is turned upside down when her parents decide to move from Chicago to Californian.  She has to start all over again her senior year of high school. New friends, school and a changed life.  I want to remain spoiler free so will top line - Nicolette attends her first Hollywood party meets two guys - Michael and Simon.  Michael is a “bad boy” dbag. She manages to ditch him and meets and instantly falls for Simon (and so will you). Michael is a complete stalker and psycho.  The unthinkable happens and Nicolette’s life will forever be changed in a horrible way.
This story has a few good emotional twists and turns making it a page turner. Mary A. Wasowski takes her time crafting her characters and the plot of ACL. I have say Simon is going on my high school book boyfriend list : ) .  If you are in the mood for a solid emotional read than A Changed Life by Mary A. Wasowski is the book for you!  I will definitely check out more of Mary’s books in the future. Four stars.

The definition - The double full is a trampoline move that comprises a single (normally straight) back somersault with two full twists.

Ok…first off I have to say I popped my m/m romance book cherry by reading Double Full by Kindle Alexander…and it was real good.

I want to remain spoiler free…so here is my basic break down of Double Full. Cole is a hottie, “Mr. All American” football God living large on his Texas college campus.  He has a secret crush on Jace, an openly gay, beautiful male cheerleader at school. A smoking hot locker room encounter changes everything. Prior to the locker room tryst, Cole has been secretly obsessed with Jace.  Cole asks Jace to accompany him on a once in a life time trip.  While enjoying their cozy island paradise….they have crazy ass sex (literally) and promises of a serious relationship are made. The boys get back to Texas…and their secret is way out of the closet.  Reality hits home. If Cole wants to be considered as a serious NFL draft pick and keep Jace safe - then hard choices must be made. A world of hurt, lies, lust, sex and drugs become a reality.

If this second chance love story doesn’t pull on your heart strings…then I don’t know if you have a heart beating in your chest. I wanted to grab my pom poms and cheer for these two to make it work.  I have to say I am so conditioned to reading m/f smutastic encounters….so this was way different for me.  Different in a good way!   This book might not be for everyone since there are some super steamy m/m scenes.  If you can’t deal/read this…I totally get it… but you will be missing out on one hell of a great love story from Kindle Alexander. There is a book two planned and hope we get more Colt, Jace and…Mitch. 4.50 - 5.00 football sized stars.

An Open Note to Hollywood Producers, Directors, Screen Writers and Cable TV Show Executives:

Are you looking for the next big thing to green light? The Consequences series by Aleatha Romig is IT.  I don’t think I could write a review worthy of this series.  Aleatha Romig is pure genius.  Consequences (books 1 -3) will blow your mind, twist your stomach, keep you on the edge of your seat…and just when you think you have it all figured out… BOOM.

Consequences is the ultimate psychological thriller.  Romig writes some of the best Kindle Crack I have ever had the pleasure of reading.  If it were possible to get paper cuts from speed turning pages on my Kindle I would need a blood transfusion.

Someone needs to option Consequences for a TV cable series…I can’t wait to see it come to life as a show. That is all.

Review of  More Than This 
More Than This by Jay McLean

Wow effing wow!  Where did this book come from?  I read More Than This in one sitting.  I couldn’t put this book down if I tried.

Mikayla has it all.  She has it all….an amazing family, boyfriend and best friend.  Its prom night and she is ready to go make some memories. While at a pre-prom dinner some ass clown spills a drink down the back of her dress to get her attention.  She runs off to the bathroom to dry off and finds walking into the beginning of the worst night of her life.  Mikayla’s world is turned upside down.  Nothing will be the same and life as she knows it is just a memory.  Enter Jake Andrews…a hot Aussie transplant who helps Mikayla try and get her reassemble her shattered existence.

I’m not a “swooner” but Jake effing Andrews has made me into one.  That is all.

I want to remain spoiler free and not ruin this book for you.  Be prepared to go on a tsunami sized emotional roller coaster. I never saw the ending coming…talk about twists and turns! I laughed cried big ugly tears and even wanted to throw my Kindle a few times.  More Than This by Jay McLean is one of those books that will stick with me forever…just like Colleen Hoover’s Slammed and Hopeless.  FYI – the characters are seniors in high school/college freshman – but this not a YA book.  There is no cliffhanger but a HUGE set up for the next book.  FIVE baseball sized stars! Read this now.
